Share
Location Online
Date 14/05/2022
Time 09:00 - 17:00 BST

Description

The inquiry process in MBCT is very important to participants’ learning, but many teachers find inquiry skills the most difficult to learn. This workshop is intended to demystify the inquiry process. We will consider the purposes of inquiry, the importance of the teacher’s embodiment of mindfulness, conceptual underpinnings, and practical inquiry skills. We will also consider challenging situations that can arise during inquiry and ways of responding to them. The atmosphere of this workshop is warm and supportive to encourage exploration and skill development.

IMPORTANT: You do not need to complete this workshop if you are currently on the OMC 12-month cohort training route.

This training is part of  the OMC modular mindfulness teacher training programme. Please do not sign up for this training if your only experience with MBCT is as a course participant, as your application will not be approved, and you may be charged an administration fee when we refund your payment

The OMC provides Confirmation of Attendance letters to all participants who attend our training events. OMC Trained Teacher Certificates are issued only after completion of the OMC teacher training pathway, through a formal application process not linked to this event.
