Online Day of Practice – Sunday
Description
The OMF Day of Practice offers an opportunity deepen your mindfulness practice in a supportive online group setting.
It is designed for those with an existing practice and teachers (or trainee teachers) of mindfulness-based programmes. It also forms part of what the British Association of Mindfulness-Based Approaches (BAMBA) outlines as continued professional development.
What will I do on this course?
The day includes guided sitting, standing and movement practices of up to 30 minutes in length, and some extended periods of silence.- The day lasts for 5 hours, including a longer break in which you are invited to continue to practise while eating a meal or engaging in other activities during the break.
- You will be led by our experienced teachers with a deep knowledge of mindfulness and extended experience of leading days of practice with groups.
Learning Outcomes
Develop deeper insight into moment-by-moment experience,- Recognising more clearly the habits of the mind and how we might work more skilfully with these.
- Revisit and deepen learning from familiar mindfulness and some less familiar practices.
